Chicken Fajita Pizza

Pizza topped with sauteed chicken, onion and bell pepper seasoned with chili powder, salt and garlic. Top chicken with salsa and shredded Monterrey Jack cheese. Baked until golden.
Ingredients -

1 tablespoon Olive Oil
2 Boneless, Skinless, Chicken Breasts, cut in strips
1-1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
3/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 cup Onion, thinly sliced
1 cup Green or Red Pepper, cut in strips
10 ounces refrigerated Pizza Crust
1/2 cup Salsa
8 ounces shredded Monterey Jack Cheese

 
Preparation:

1. Heat oven to 425 F.

2. Add olive oil to large skillet. Heat until hot over medium heat.

3. Add chicken and saute 5 minutes, or until browned.

4. Stir in chili powder, salt and garlic powder.

5. Add sliced onions and bell pepper strips. Cook 1 minute or until vegetables are crisp-tender.

6. Spray a 12–inch pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray.

7. Unroll dough onto pizza pan.

8. Bake dough 6-8 minutes, or until lightly browned.

9. Spoon fajita chicken mixture over dough.

10. Top chicken mixture with salsa and sprinkle with shredded Monterrey Jack cheese.

11. Bake 15 to 17 minutes, or until crust is golden.

Pizza Crust
Substitute ready-made pizza crust for refrigerated pizza crust, if necessary. Follow pizza crust instructions.

Warming Tortillas in Oven
To warm tortillas in oven, preheat to 300 F. Sprinkle tortillas with water, wrap batch in foil, and heat 6-7 minutes.
